No type of shoe does the trick and they all end up shivering. That's when Brian has his moment of genius. His idea? To design a boot that could keep you warm, even in the cold and wet.

Brian, proud of his masterstroke, was sure of what he was doing. He embarked on a marathon of visits to various suppliers to bring his boot, initially named UGG Australia, to life and sell it. It wasn't long before a number of surfers fell for this UGG boot with its ultra-soft double-faced wool. And so, you guessed it, it was the start of an epic journey into the world of fashion for Brian Smith...
